Last year, we featured the much-adored pumpkin spice latte and gave you tips on how to make your own at work. This fall, we’re brewing something just as warm and fuzzy.
While we’re big pumpkin fans, it’s not a flavour that goes with everything. Not everyone likes squash or even pumpkin pie. So we’re convinced that this fall, hazelnut is the flavour of the season. Hazelnuts are delicious, and they add a sweet, nutty taste to almost anything (even your pumpkin spice latte).
If you’re a lover of warm drinks, here are three you need to try this month. Autumn won’t know what hit it:
For those who don’t like pumpkin or think pumpkin spice lattes are overrated, try a hazelnut latte instead. With a stronger, sweeter flavour alongside the usual seasonal spices, you’ll quickly find this drink addictive.
Ingredients:
Heat milk and sugar while you’re brewing your coffee. Add hazelnut syrup and pumpkin pie spices, then combine it all with your coffee.
This just might be the game changer you needed today.
If you thought we were going to insist on another hazelnut option, you’d be right. Adding a few pumps of hazelnut syrup in your Bakers hot chocolate levels up your drink tenfold. It’s so rich and hearty, you might forget how awesome hot chocolate is on its own. But you’ll be the talk of the office.
